Just had a cat run up to me in the street. Thought for a second it would attack me, but then it dove onto its back right under my feet meowing. I pet it, like any good person, and it just kept rolling and twisting. Then I thought maybe it was hurt so I stood. But it just got up and meowed again.

I started to walk away after petting it a bit more and it dove under my feet to stop me.

I’m not super familiar with cats, having only had fairly stand-offish cats. Is this just like a normal cat or was this a weirdo?

I also remember seeing something about the roles being all jumbled in that HRW article. I don’t want to say specifics to mislead people. People more knowledgeable than me, what resources are there outside if HRW for this?

I went running once and tore something in my knee to where I couldn’t really walk right (but did stupidly anyways) and couldn’t climb stairs anymore. I pushed through and it did get better, and then I had to slowly start running again. After a year or 2 I stopped having any major issue with it

I didn’t stretch almost every day while it was injured though, with whatever stretches didn’t hurt. Not a medical professional, but pretty sure that’s just always a good thing
