he was such a versatile actor. more than he gets credit for. Going from watching him in Jurassic Park as a child to seeing him in Possession years later, it was hard to believe it was the same actor.

I saw it yesterday and I loved it. Of the modern Evil Dead movies, I think it ranks in last place though. The 2013 movie was excellent and felt a lot like the original movie. Rise felt liked a darker, gorier Evil Dead 2. Burn felt the least like an Evil Dead movie overall. It had incredible camera work and the kills were so brutal and satisfying, but very little that felt like it was part of the same series. Easily the second best horror movie I’ve seen this year, just not the best Evil Dead. I still highly recommend seeing it.

I’ve learned my lesson. can I come home to England now?

You aren’t wrong. I was beyond ready for it to be over by the end. I’m going easy on it though since it’s a first time director.

I like the movie, but my biggest complaint was that it was unnecessarily too long. the last thing it needs is an extended version.

I watched Hokum and it’s easily the best horror movie of the year so far

Carnival of Souls. If you don’t mind black and white movies, this is easily one of the creepiest surreal horror movies ever made
