Babymetal is so fucking awesome! They shouldn’t work and be as great as they are, they are too technical, they are too over-produced, they are way over hyped. Are you using DMC 310 for the black? Try using 4 ply instead of 2 (and a laying tool) for better coverage, or use my trick and sub in DMC 939 for black. DMC 939 is a very, very dark blue that is almost black. For some reason, DMC 310 is super thin and doesn’t give great coverage.
