Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Can we trust LLM CALCULATIONS?.

Arthur C Clarke is an excellent author and the Rama series is one of my all-time favourites. I’d recommend anything by Philip K Dick, though honestly I think a good reference would be to pick works listed in the SF Masterworks collection, it’s how I found many of my favourite SF novels.
If you fancy venturing into modern SF classics, my favourites are by Peter F Hamilton, Iain M Banks and William Gibson; though does Gibson count? He doesn’t even have a middle initial 😄

Games@sh.itjust.works•Sega Accused Of Using Police To Recover Nintendo Dev Kits It Had "Negligently Disposed Of"English
571·2 months agoNote that it was City of London Police involved. The City of London is quite distinct and different from the London that tourists know of. The City of London is owned by the corporations (mainly financial institutions) within its boundary, it is self-governing and has the right to set up it’s own police force which can take enforcement action in any part of the UK, not just the City of London. They are basically an enforcement arm for corporations and are very interested in things like enforcing intellectual property claims.
