There’s always a reason why your mood drops, you just might not be aware of the why. Depression is only diagnosable by a mental health professional, but if you worry that might be what you’re suffering with then, if able, talk to someone.

Having said all that, remember that sadness, like joy, will pass. How ever you’re feeling is natural and valid even if you don’t know the source. Be gentle with yourself and do what you need to do to take care of you.
