    Iran is not perfect, but they do have very strong convictions and their own conception of what it means to be a humanitarian state.

    Iran never developed or used chemical weapons against Iraq, even when Iraq used it against them. Producing chemical weapons is easy and Iran could have easily done it hade they wanted to.

    In the same vein, Iran could have had nuclear weapons had they not decided to ban weapons of mass destruction.

      Throwing Kurdish youth activists out of windows is a pretty broad definition of not perfect humanitarianism.

          PJAK statements some 5 yrs back in this particular case, but Kurdish activists are killed there pretty much monthly.
