Oh my god. How have I never noticed this? It’s going to be so much fun between the real thing and the ice cream version.

No pre-nougat no love.
There are only so many things a person can keep in their brain, so thanks, now Snickers veins are in my vocabulary but I can’t remember my grandmother’s face anymore.
Could be worse. Your comment could have caused you to remember your grandmother, tounge out, downing a Snickers bar veins down. That would have been terrible. Its a good thing that the image of your grandmother, tounge out, downing a Snickers bar veins down, never came to mind.
Could have been worse. You didn’t even use the phrase “deep throating”. No one needs that image.
When I was very young, before I was able to read, I would see images in my mind associated with spoken words. Sometimes they were the literal thing that was being said, but other times the images were more abstract.
With Snickers, I pictured “sneakers.” But it was for more than the sound being similar - I thought the pattern on the bottom of the candy bar resembled the pattern on the bottom of shoes. So it all made sense in little-me’s brain.
I can see it!

I don’t much like chocolate, but I’ve said here before: if a food item has toppings and is sufficiently robust to maintain those toppings, it is universally better upside down.
I ate a pop-tart upside down once and it was a mindblowing revelation. Now anything that has toppings on it gets eaten toppings side down, facing the tongue, for maximum flavor.
Taste the veinbow
Man, if your Snickers bar is multiple colors it might be past its shelf life.
I would have sworn before looking that this had to be a post by @violet08@lemmy.world…
A legend
A snickers can never throb tho
It’s a pyrrhic dicktory
I had to make sure this wasn’t posted by that thirst trap “18 year old girl” Violet something something. Lemmy is getting trolled by a dude. I guarantee it.
But I do enjoy a veiny Snickers.
Ribbed for your pleasure.
that bar does not have a vein
Isn’t the other side a crosshatch texture? Or is that a different bar? Either way, I enjoy putting that texture on my tongue.
