If I was a doctor, I would readily diagnose bone spurs in any young man coming to me who doesn’t want to lose his life in an unwinnable war started by a pedophile with dementia to cover his crimes, and I wouldn’t even charge for the consultation.

There’s no shame in dodging that one.

I suppose ask if they would vote for a Black Lives Matter activist if they were the opponent, if they say no then they’re miraculously cured, because otherwise you know they would vote a fourth time.

The point op was trying to make is that it’s hypocritical for one to dodge the draft by medical reasons, and then sending off 10000 people to a pointless war yourself.

Do you see shame in that?

For context: Vietnam had 40 million people during the war, the US sent 550,000 troops there and it lost the war

Iran is 5 times the size of Vietnam, has 2.3 times the population, and is just as determined to kick GI butts as the VCs were. And Iran has just mobilized a million troops.

How will 13,000 US troops become anything other than dead bodies and war prisoners in very short order, pray tell?

Not sure how a country of 203 million in 1970 (census data) would have sent a multiple of its population to war in Vietnam?!

Your numbers are off by a LOT.

Oops, wrong order of magnitude. Well spotted.

As our foremost intellectual in the cabinet Markwayne Mullin would say, that was a misspoke 🙂

Thanks for correcting your post, now it makes sense and really shows how fucked the US is. This will get much worse for everyone involved and everyone of us.
