Not sure if any of you are aware of these speakers.
They charging cables are utter shite (latest models now use USB-C) and don’t last very long.
Had a random barrel charger and it actually fits!

Apart from the shrink wrap, how would these help?
They distribute stress on where the wires attach to a solid object. And they protect from dust and UV. Why they have a version of it on ends of most phone cables.

Nice. Put some ferrules on those leads, and it’d be a professional-grade permanent fix.
And some self-adhesive shrink-wrap for strain relief.
I have a bunch of these plugs and just got an assortment of these ferrules the other day. It looks so much better with them.
Can you do me a huge favor and make another post about how you washed your hands?

Now do one after a bit of hand moisturizer!
I’ve got this thing (probably a misconception) where I think that if my hands are soft and moisturised I’ll get even more cuts than I do now.
… or while sexily applying it?
…It puts the lotion it’s skin…
Don’t listen to them, OP!
we all know electrical work gets one as dirty as an oil change! ;-)
How did the ring fit on your left thumb?
Just slid it on.
I’m in my 40’s now so I’ve got fatter thumbs
It only comes off with the help of fairy up liquid
Is it a bad thing that there are two cables sticking out?
Depends. If I had to guess, I’d say it’s a USB cable and the other two cables are just for data signal and don’t appear to be used by the device (the barrels connector only has two terminals for positive and negative voltage). Probably, won’t hurt anything, but it would be a good idea to flush cut then and throw down some heat shrink just so the loose wires can’t snag anything.
They said the latest models use USB-C, and I’m assuming that theirs is not the latest. So it’s probably an older USB A to Barrel cable. (the product page supports this hypothesis).
USB A cables have 4 wires. Two for power and two for data. That’s just a power plug, so nothing is going to be happening on the two data wires. Totes safe.
Thank you
Nope, just not used
