    Idk…I’m not as optimistic about it. Magyar only left Orbans party because Magyar’s wife was part of a big controversy after she helped pardon a pedophile.

    We can all hope for the best, but I think this is more of a battle for control of the reins rather than a dispute of political ideology.

      I thought the important bit is that it’s his Ex-Wife as he was the one that exposed the controversy, leading to the divorce? but I might be missing some details…

      EDIT looks like it was:

      1. Divorce
      2. Govt Scandal (involving ex-wife)
      3. Him exposing more info and leaving the party

      Even such a fracture means the party is no longer unified and able to further damage the constitution and rule of law - I’d still find hope there.
