Everything is more expensive and we’re getting less for our money. It’d be one thing if the quality of things got better with prices going up, but everything just sucks more. Shit breaks in ten minutes, food is worse for you (either on purpose or just due to being less nutritious), gas doesn’t go as far and makes your engine dirtier, etc etc.
Why are people so angry? Dunno, could it be the constant stream of negative news and ai slop and propaganda?
Nope. In this case it’s the effects of late-stage, shameless capitalism, aided by decades of right-wing politics tearing down guardrails and citizens protections over time.

Good article. Applicable a lot of other countries….we are experiencing longer than usual wait times…press 4 to be ignored…go to out website to be sent in circles.
Nader is my hero.
I was a volunteer at one of his 2000 speeches, when he was running for POTUS. I thought he was a good, effective speaker, unfortunately that run was really bad timing, politically. Still, that’s more moreso on corrupt Florida and the Supreme Court than anyone else.
Anyway, yeah, what a guy. He arguably saved many peoples’ lives just from his “Unsafe at any Speed” book & movement. Plus, helping to establish the EPA.
