Most dual arrays aren’t set up like this, though. They alternate negative and positive in each side.
Those double the voltage, the others double the current (series vs parallel)
Easy, just bend the battery.
the art of series vs parallel
You can usually tell just by if the springs are on the same or opposite sides.
Holy shit. These manufacturers are just in cahoots with big battery!
several hours later
The battery life on this thing is bullshit!
This actually works. I used a paperclip instead of second battery.
Everything is a fuse
I’m a thing, Greg, could you fuse me?
Some of them clock that has two battery slot actually only need one to function, the other battery are for lamp and alarm. Pretty neat when i found that out.
I’ve got a (very old) Logitech G602, and you don’t even need to cross the battery in that. It will work with a battery in either slot or both. Always thought that was nice because before rechargables where it doesn’t matter, usually if you used each battery separately after they stopped working together, you’d get a bit more use from them.
I still got one of those. The mouse wheel is starting to get a little loosey-goosey on me though; it’s annoying but not worth getting rid of yet.
I love this manufactorer. Wide mouse, put entire hand on it, move like hand flat on table, no grab force.
Damn, I had this mouse years ago.
