Yes, that’s true, but I meant about restrictive social norms. One person’s reprehensible norm breaking is another person’s struggle for recognition. But you’re right, publicly calling out stuff is not what I meant
for example, a poly couple would be shamed in the 50’s, or anything not heteronormative. I see what you mean
