      Tell that to the shit ton of people who pay obscene money to see people play sports every year.

        I think they mean when it comes to surviving, that is, keeping his family fed and such, sports is just entertainment and should not be a priority at all. The president of that garbage country should be focusing on what actually matter — the livelihood of the citizens. OP probably knows people spend a stupid amount of money on people moving balls around.
