Put out by the American Principles Project on behalf of GOP Senate nominee Ken Paxton, the ad in question depicts a young girl plucking flower petals in a grassy field before transitioning to a shot of the same girl lying in a hospital bed wearing an oxygen mask. A doctor is shown instructing the girl to “keep counting,” and is later revealed to be a GenAI-generated depiction of Talarico.

    Wtf?

Using AI generated slop of your opponent is highly unethical.

Ken Paxton had an extramarital affair. No need to make any ai slop to showcase where Paxton keeps his values.

Ken Paxton had an extramarital affair.

And supports a party currently led by an obvious pedophile … which I think is the more damning issue here.

Let’s not forget that the broke his daughter’s collar bone and held a gun to the head of his ex wife.

Supporting Trump doesn’t even make it to the top 3 of reasons this guy needs to be removed.

Anyone dumb enough to be swayed by this, is already voting R in every election…

However, it was funny to hear that everyone who’s “remixed” the original ad has lost, including Hillary.

Just highlights how out of touch the people prompting these are, how many people will even get the original LBJ reference? And of the ones who do, how many Texas Republicans would have favorable memories of an LBJ campaign video?

Talarico should counter with an ad depicting real transgender people saying how nobody tricked them into becoming trans and how long they had to wait to get surgery.

The only thing worse than the pure, unfiltered cynicism and self-hatred it takes to use this tactic on your own people, is that it is somehow effective.
