This police state surveillance apparatus is really quite embarrassing if they have to appeal to the public instead of using the very thing designed for total surveillance that was involved in the incident.
They only have to appeal to the public to provide cover for what they can really do. They’ll just search men in the area whose phones weren’t being used or moved during this incident (assuming the guy was smart enough to not bring his phone with him, who knows) and filter by men who make anti-surveillance posts on social media and match the limited physical description available here. Probably wouldn’t be more than a few hits that match.
