Why do you think the rich love making movies with that trope so much. Or the ones where revolutionaries always end up just as bad as the oppressor they overthrew.
Yeah. The MCU is probably the biggest offender. Luckily hardly anyone watches that garbage. There is this thing where people call the movies ‘woke’ but they are not. At least not beyond a surface level anyway (makes it easier to cut out all the gay stuff for violent dictatorships. Plus, most of the heroes belong to a wealthy/noble class while the others are either cops or soldiers.
I vaguely remember, compared to DC, Marvel has often been comparatively okay with killing, in part because of the scale of villains they go up against - secret armies of a new world order or space aliens, as opposed to thugs employed by a gangster.
That does quiet down when they go face to face with a human that wasn’t born with powers, though.
