Wait… wouldn’t it… make more sense for her to thaw in the summer?
Cut to Mariah Carey standing confused in a parking lot in June
Ahh, is it Not Quite Almost Christmas Time already?
Costco started selling Xmas shit in August. AUGUST!!!
I saw that last year in the UK for a couple of shops. This year august was the start of Halloween/autumn stuff instead which is better than Christmas although probably still a little early. Now its September I have seen small sections of Christmas stuff start to appear in more shops though.
Why can’t they just sell Halloween shit year round? Halloween is nicer.
Hottest day of the year in the UK, Xmas shit been put out in the shelves. Halloween stuff was already out and selling 🤷
A moment of respite. A chance to steel oneself against the coming horrors.
O m g… The horror is comming soon…
The groceriestore near where i live started selling christmas cookies a week ago. It’s no even fucking autumn!
The Scavenger’s Daughter has opened her eyes.
Well that implies a lot!
Yup, but remember, “There are no gods here. Just those who pay for the privilege”.
Motherfucker it is still hot as hell where I live
So, you live on Earth? Way to doxx yourself! /s
Not hot everywhere. UK is cooling off a bit, almost been thinking of wearing trousers to work with how cool it has been getting in the mornings. Not yet though, maybe a few more weeks.
it’s september you psychopath, you fucking chrizzos can fuck off
Oh, I’m not happy about it. But that doesn’t change the fact that her one eye opened, and soon, we will be engulfed.
I wouldn’t mind being engulfed.
Home Depot near me clearanced out the Halloween stuff in September last year to make room for Christmas decorations.
I’m already seeing Christmas stuff in Target, Home Depot, etc. Wild.
They had Eggnog at Costco today… Wtf
I kind of get that the big box stores don’t have a big storage room in the back, so they basically start to put some shit out soon after it arrives. But the nog? That shit is perishable.
My dude, we’re well into September.
edited, and my point is still fully valid
Yeah but you’re an over aggressive little bitch, so nullified
My local Costco already has snowmen and Christmas lights out for sale. Halloween stuff is basically all gone.
december will be celebrating valentines and easter.
Amen. dark days are ahead. Use caution around televisions and radios. And for fucks sake, steer clear of the shopping centres. Liberate yourself from auditory tyranny - arm yourself with the best noise cancelling headphones or ear defenders in your reach - keep them close for at least the next 3 months, ESPECIALLY behind enemy lines. The terrorists can be around any corner. Stay strapped
what does that mean?
Too soon!

All you wannabe hipsters trying to bond over mutual disdain for that song when the real enemy is “Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer”
It’s Feliz Navidad for me. Catchy enough to get stuck in my head, repetitive enough to be annoying while it’s in there.
In the 90s, there was an especially heinous rendition of Mi Burrito Sabanero, sang by the whiniest sounding kid, that just dominated radio stations.
honestly if you’re like me and the millions of other tortured survivors of the hellscape known as A Retail Job, 99% of Christmas songs are just pure PTSD trigger
fortunately I can still somewhat enjoy Carol of the Bells and most of The Nutcracker because they just go so fuckin hard
also what didn’t get ruined for me by being blasted over a blown out speaker in a loop for 8–10 hour shifts, are various metal Christmas tracks that are too spicy for grocery store grandmas 🤘
The “Iron Man” parody that starts off, “I AM SANTA CLAUS…!”
For me it’s Santa Baby or whatever the hell it’s called, that song is just totally creepy.
Santa Baby and Baby it’s Cold Outside creep me tf out… Who thought either of those songs were a good idea to write…
Ok yeah that one too. Insufferable greed is rampant enough…
I prefer “Grandma got worked over by a mobster”. As an Italian American, it really speaks to me.
