White Hole and Murderoni were great, but I think the jokes are reliably good throughout most episodes of the last two seasons.
Please don’t, just let it be dead. The last revival sucked the next one probably will too. Just let people keep their good memories instead of turning it into another simpsons.

For me it’s the fractal of them zooming in and out of the simulations, and slowing down a simulation so far that it feels like to the people observing the simulation that the simulation has stopped, however for the people in the simulation it feels as if their timeline is running exactly the same as always. Everyone’s sad to see it end, but Fry and Leela recognize instantly that for the people within the simulation that the stories never end.
IMO it was the perfect ending and I refuse on rewatch to watch past that
Futurama hasn’t declined anywhere near as badly.
All i can remember about the last season is Kif and Amy have the kids now, there was an NFT episode, and there was an episode that looks like Tintin. I usually can remember the plot and character growth.
They tried so much to do “current thing” but with things from a few years ago that it felt completely irrelevant, it wasn’t just NFTs.
If they want to do “current thing”, they have to move like South Park and throw half the episode together a week before it airs.
No but its travelling the same road, I’d prefer it ends on a high note.
The time loop finale should have been the real end of the show. It was the perfect sendoff.

The irony is that The Simpsons is the one that should be canceled.

simpsons, they are milking a dead horse to the point its just ahusk. thats what became of SUpernatural too, shouldve ended in season 5, they just milked it with gay fanfiction for another 10 seasons.
I just finished the first episode of Supernatural last night. At least now I know to stop after season 5
6 tries to resemble 5 alittle, and 8 are quite decent, and only 11. almost every other one is wierd and awkward.
Watch it until you stop enjoying it. That line is different for everyone, but I promise you that once you feel like it’s really gone down hill, it won’t get better

I stopped watching after a few episodes of season 8. It felt like it lost its way. So I’m fine just rewatching season 1-7 and the movies.

I watch the new stuff, it’s got good episodes, it’s got bad episodes, and it’s got just fine episodes. We’ve got three Futurama specials to look forward to. Maybe they’ll be good, maybe bad, maybe just fine. I’m looking forward to finding out.

The “The Devil’s Hands Are Idle Playthings” was a good episode but I think both “Otherwise” and “Meanwhile” were much better “final” episodes.
Maybe next time it comes back we can get some new Nixon jokes. Those are fresh.

Groening has been pretty clear that he’s all about the money. I went to a Simpsons live show like 20+ years ago, and he specifically said that money was the only motivation for continuing the show.
