He’s always been an asshole. If Senate Democrats fall in line behind him, I’m almost willing to guarantee a Republican victory in 2028.

If they go with Schumer for the Senate or Jeffries for the House, I will vote Green in 2028. Fuck the DNC. I won’t compromise for Israel.

This. There is a mechanism for choosing who gets to be on the ballot. Tell your friends and family to show up for primaries. Tell them they can’t complain about the ballot if they don’t have a hand in shaping it.

I get it and am there in frustration with you and we really do need more than just a two party shit-show. Our political system is set up third party’s are impractical at best.

I fairly certain that the neoliberal third way dems wouldn’t mind at all if you, I or anyone else that threatened their grift left the party.

I think it would be more productive to reshape the party from within. Maybe its time for mass protests before the new congress. Millions in the streets to show these fucks the door.

I really hope AOC runs for NY Senate in two years and replacing his old out of touch ass. Even your own people, Jewish Americans, think you’re antisemitic.

What could be more antisemitic than repeatedly using the levers of power to associate the rationalization of a genocide with a defense of judaism?

From a secular perspective where does judaism philosophically or materially excuse such evil?

Is it not antisemitic in the extreme to proclaim judaism is a religion and/or ethnicity prone to genocide because of who jews inherently “are” and what their religion teaches?

If the previous statement is true than it logically follows that Zionism must be in some deeply twisted way antisemitic itself since Zionism requires Judaism to bestow Israel its militant legitimacy.

Humanist Judaism literally spearheaded secularism in the west, which just makes the whole Zionism thing embarrassingly stupid.

Of course he does. He’s an obstinate prick and ally of israel. Consent isn’t important to Israelis either. We’ll have to continue forcing them out bit by bit. It will be arduous but worth it.

Chuck Schumer doesn’t realize he’s already out. There is no going back to his way of doing things.

So, like, he dismisses the will of the American people? Should have been primaried out this go 'round. Perhaps better now to impeach and remove and replace the ones who go against what their constituents demand. Time to remove the old guard. The American people need to be able to bring a vote of no confidence to remove politicians who forget their place.

Perhaps that’s something that we need to change. Recalling of politicians should be a thing in America.

I don’t know how you’d set the bar at a reasonable level so it wouldn’t we used for harassment, but we should be brainstorming this.

Maybe I need to go spend time on wikipedia, but how would he even get the position at this point? Surely every single new senator just elected doesn’t want him in the position, and is he actually even liked by anyone?

Is there a way for the republicans to fuck with this? As in, they purposely aid the neoliberal democrats and vote for him? Same thought for Jeffries.
