It’s a map with routing information, live traffic, road work etc. Offline maps available if needed but obviously no live traffic reporting then. Based on OpenStreetMap.
How does it compare to Organic Maps and why can’t i find it on fdroid?
This is better for driving while Organic Maps is open source, more private and better for walking, hiking and cycling.

Magic Earth collects data on location while Organic Maps does not collect any.

I’ll be sure to try this out on my drive tomorrow.I tried it. The address for my business in Prince Edward Island Canada was incorrect and it didn’t have a clue about my home address on the island.
Something that’s fairly easy to fix. But I get what you’re saying.
However, if you want to help, just log in to openstreetmap and fix it.
Waze is bad for privacy reasons I’m guessing?
Waze is a Google property. That’s enough for some people. (No shade meant there, that’s as valid a reason as any.)
