even in that case, usage of -ing form is poor grammar which takes away potential choices of phrasing and reduces possibilities for creativity.

You are correct, of course. I was being difficult.
I personally always get a severe anxiety of missing something important even when my phone is not silenced so I’m just trying my best to stay busy to not think about it.
Do you mostly leave your iphone on ‘do not disturb’ mode or ‘disturb’ mode??
it irks me when things that aren’t attributable to adhd get attributed to adhd. enjoy your common ground, i guess that’s the point, but the side effect is a generation with just as fucked up of an understanding of mental health as the generation that denied their MH issues
