- 99% chance they were going with Ender, but there’s that 1% chance they were going with Pigman and that’s what I’ll choose to believe - There’s also Allay, Wither, and Ghast - blaze mayb - iirc that was it - I know a Blaze, although it’s spelled differently - Are they related to Guy Firey? - I don’t think they come from Flavortown but maybe they’re a distant relative - second cousin thrice removed, from titty city

- Blasé - Blaise - Blasé is a word that means indifferent and nonchalant.

- Also Vex, Blaze, Sniffer, Hoglin, Zoglin - Vex and Blaze are pretty cool names tbh - If you’re the protagonist of a SNES JRPG. - Or a Pokémon gym leader.
- Sonic OC

- everyone out here ignoring strider
- locking in my answer on allay. that’s 1000% it

- Turns out they were going to go with “Steve”. - CHICKEN JOCKEEYYY
- that’s not even a mob that’s just a real human name…

- creeper - Aw, man

- Good chance for Blaze - I’d we had more trans people in the 90s most trans men would be named Blaze

- Prismarine would be sick, or Blaze.
- 1% chance they were going with Pigman - It’s simon, so maybe…

- I misread that as Starcraft and was imagining “I go by ‘Overmind, The Eternal Will Of The Swarm’ now” - I also read StarCraft and was trying to think of what names they could have picked - Kid named zergling: :( - Edit: unironically though, Archon is a kinda cool name - Honestly I could also go with Archon - Or Templar - Defiler - Pylon

- There’s a badass maths lady I met on Tumblr who named herself Tesseract. She definitely won at names. - I’m in awe at this one honestly, “Tess” and “Tessa” are great nicknames and then you can drop the “it’s short for Tesseract” and blow minds. Absolutely fantastic name.
- It’s all fun and games until Thanos uses you as blingbling - I’m not sure what this means. - fuck meant to type Thanos, fuck autocorrect - Yup. I still don’t get it. - Is this what being old is like? - The tessaract was one of the infinity stones Thanos was after in the MCU - Thank you for putting up with my confusion and explaining!
- Ehh kinda. The tessaract contained/was made of the Mind Stone, the thing that made Jarvis into Vision. The Mind Stone is what Thanos was after. - Thanos was after all the stone. that was the whole plot. - the tessaract had the space stone.

- Kid named fucking Mildred: - The man-eater?
- Why’d someone name themselves or name their kid “Fucking Mildred”? - It’s a reference to this post

- So many called Alex because it goes for men or women - Alex would be a great genderfluid name. Use Alex as default, then when you’re a woman you could be Alexandra and Alexander when you’re a man.

- Name yourself after a Rowdyruff Boy because honestly, Brick, Boomer and Butch are the perfect fucking names. No notes.
- There’s a Minecraft mob called Luna? - this one

- I feel like Allay would be a nice name
- Ok so should I criticize my trans friend for forgetting to change her last name from -ski suffix to -skaya suffix when doing the legal name change to remove deadname? - I think this depends on context. I live in Sweden, so a non-slavic country, and I have known multiple women with -ski suffixes. Some from marriages or being born in Sweden and just getting ski automatically, but I had a teacher from Poland who has the masculine ending. - So I think if you’re in a country where last names are typically gendered, then sure, it can help to have a last name that is congruent with your identity. If you’re in a country where that is not the norm, I think it’s fine either way. - In any case, it’s her name and her choice.
