Feel free to have a look at
Currently rewatching the second season of Daredevil. Wanted to refresh my memory for Born Again. I have to admit that the whole ‘war’ stuff with Stick and everything doesn’t really gets me. I prefer the more grounded stories. A very good series nonetheless.
I also watched the first part of the new Hellboy movie, and besides the special effects, they really nailed the visual direction.
@Servais@discuss.tchncs.de the second link in your post template should be to !Television@lemm.ee , as showsandmovies has moved there.
I’m watching Superstore. Into the second season and still waiting for it to grab me.
- Severance, s02
- White Lotus, s03
- Mythic Quest, s04
- Abbott Elementary, s04
Is mythic quest worth watching? Im one season in and it didn’t really grab me.
don’t watch it if you don’t like it, it’s a dumb show but I watch it because I love the Poppy character and her awkward screaming, lol
I would say s03 and s04 are just going off the rails, but there is too much keeping me on-board, like Danny Pudi being a pure delight.
Blondie in China - an Australian food vlogger in China. Boy do I crave some Chinese spicy food now.
Been watching Defiance, BBC’s Les Mis show, Paradise, and that cartoon about the lifesaving mushroom
Literally nothing. Still have tomorrow to watch something tho. This might be the first week in more than 5 years that I haven’t watched anything aha
Reason being that I’m used to watching it with my wife and she’s out of the country since last Sunday
Just watched Reservoir Dogs. Man, what a trip. Incredible acting and phenomenal camera work for such long, intense scenes.
One of my favourite films and a definite masterpiece of cinema.
Moana 2
After having recently finished the book, I watched American Psycho this week. It’s a fantastic and hilarious film and doesn’t stray too far from the book. Christian Bale is phenomenal in it and the social commentary feels almost as relevant today as it did for the late 80s when it was set.
I’ve just started watching ghosts! I got the recommendation here and I’m really enjoying it. I also finished s3 of mythic quest which I bloody love.
We’ve been watching YuYu Hakusho this week. Once we’re done with that, it’ll be either Ronin Warriors or Cowboy Bebop.
Right now I am watching bros(https://letterboxd.com/film/bros/) and its a chore to get through. Its half about modern queer culture and half gay romcon
Right of the bat, its loud and obnoxious and has south park style of “comedy” where it hits you over the head with the joke until you get it.There is a scene around where i am at the moment, where i thought for a sec it was gonna be a little subtle about it until the next shot and that’s when know there isn’t a subtle bone in this film. It also tries to cram in every possible thing said in relation to LGBTQ+ under the sun by which i mean the writers’ twitter feed and has very little if anything to say about any of it. Its also one step way from adding a laugh track, characters react in that uncanny way that characters react in sitcoms react when the main cast say something offensive/outrages or off-putting. The main character feels like a pessimistic/angry Christmas hating atheist plunged out of one of those Christian Christmas movies.
After finishing all the Dexter seasons, I tried three episodes of SweetPea. It as not for me. Then tried 3 episodes of Madmen, same issue. Felt as if it wasn’t for me.
Now watched the first episodes of The day of the Jackal and that seems to be my thing.
In the last week or so, I have finished all of the currently available episodes of School Spirits, Handmaid’s Tale, and Severance. Gonna have to find some new shows (at least until Handmaid’s Tale starts up in April)
I loved the first few seasons of HMT! It lost me in season 4 though, it bored me to tears.
That’s too bad! I’ve really enjoyed the direction the show has gone, but can also understand why a person might not. Season 6 (starting in April) will be the last, and I’m very excited to see how it ends
Yep the show totally lost me when June

returned home. Plus I was all about Nune so I’m gutted that’s over
