it seems like honest humanity is slowly being genocided.
like i used to be interested in transhumanism and the idea of tech and humanity blending. now everything seems like its evil. and the old things considered evil in the past seem less evil than whatever is happening now.
i want off this ride completely. i dont think people even fathom the reality of the fact that in 1st world nations at least, we are basically just herded farm animals. their ideas of morality arent universal truths, they are just a mechanism to control humanities path for their national business and partly out of their fears of losing control of their human money making cattle.
look at america… they basically make up shit and destroy lives for profit. these arent morals or anything like that they are protecting, its basically a business scheme to profit off of regular natural humanity. american humans are like a natural resource to the their nation, that is abused like everything else. nevermind how they treat people and life outside of america.
Morality and ethics have always been rules made by humans for humans in order to organize larger collective than the ~150 people you are able to remember personally. So this isn’t hippocracy but the way things have always been with our societies.
The real question is: Which set of rules is the (currently) best one?
My personal answer: Cooperation always beats competition. Hence the society with the best set of rules enabling cooperation will out compete other forms. It believe that the original western ideals (equal chances, liberty as long as it doesn’t confine others etc.) are the best set currently available… if our societies drift away from that ideal back to feudalism we’ll be punished by societal evolution. Who knows… if the Chinese construct of state regulated capitalism works better than our neo-feudal models we’re coming up with (and obviously are unable to fight against) they might win the race in the near future.
