I toured the Frank house in Amsterdam in the late 2000s. I couldn’t speak for a while afterward. But I told myself that it could never happen in the US.
I was very, very wrong.
Make some room in your attic.
This is the main reason I’m not more publicly politically outspoken. As a white man I have great camouflage, and as a homeowner I have an attic. Who knows how soon I might need to take advantage of that?
There is no hmm here(not criticizing the post location), the US is way fast critical thresholds. Other countries are not going to save you either.
Do not let this pass.
And according to certain people, it’s perfectly fines, as long as its not happening to the Jewish people: https://youtu.be/BcRk3sQJbbA

Similarly, Neighbors: The Destruction of the Jewish Community in Jedwabne, Poland by Jan T. Gross.
So horrifying and heartbreaking what people can do to their own neighbors, but it’s important that we know that people can do these things to their neighbors.
Big recommend here, but my copy has actual teardrop stains on it after reading.
