Ads are the best part of life, I can’t wait until I can get a chip installed into my brain so I can get the ultimate targeted ads.

It's 2075 and my neuralink glitches out and I get to see the beautiful night sky for 13 seconds without ads (it's been 17 years)

I don’t believe that. By 2075, the night sky will be covered by a wall of Muskellites.

      I got mine yesterday, actually.

Now, every flat or curved surface I look at is instantly overwritten with ads! It’s lovely, let me tell you. No more white walls, no more blue sky, no more white clouds. Truly, my world has gone from the dull to the endless creativity of marketing departments the world over! I couldn’t be happier.

I don’t recall seeing this one specifically, but you may enjoy Soren Iverson’s work. He posts a bunch of satirical/ dystopian UI mockups like this.

I doubt the Torment Nexus would be this benign. Unless it’s just a lie and everyone gets the non-stop ads but are told repeatedly that they’re helping others. And every now and then, they get a message from one of the “viewers” telling them how great they are, and then the company gives them a minute of actual content, which is just an add for their higher priced subscription tier of highly rated adds.

Sounds great actually, I’ll just spin this up on a pi running 24/7 so they waste money serving ads with a 0% click conversion rate.

Soon ads will only apply to those that can actually spend money. Not the peasants assigned to their company. You will only have the company choice and nothing else. Welcome to the valley of the real
