      That was the biggest flabbergast for me when I took care of a few work machines recently, after not opening a Windows machine for years.

      I installed Linux Mint dual boot on my main PC with Win10 over the holidays.  I will not take the ads and ai BS on Win11.

        dual boot of windows + linux is known to have issues IIRC

        because windows “repairs” the bootloader on each time it’s used, so linux becomes disabled.

          I rarely boot Windows anymore but when I do, it’s via grub. I haven’t had an issue with Windows “repairing” the bootloader and disabling Linux. Anecdotal, to be sure, but it seems to be fine.
