      I mean… technically you are correct? The gravitational pull of the apple does act on the earth, but it’s so incredibly small and the earth is so incredibly massive it’s borderline non-existent.

      But yes all gravitationally interacting object do act upon each other

    Except it somewhat does? Hot air expands, including up, i.e. earth atmosphere is higher during day. But also I see where you are going from and agree, good thought, i’d expect it in showerthoughts community.
