I had a 6 burner induction installed, 220v 70 amp line, I can set the exact temperature of the cook surface and give an absolutely perfect steak rare in the center with a nice char on it…

And it can boil a pot of water in 45 seconds.

I used to be gas only, but fuck these things are nice when you get the real induction installed and not one of those 110v paper wights.

110v just isn’t enough to drive the pulses that induction uses.

The main issue I have with inductions are woks, you need a specific concave induction cooktop for woks so it heats it up properly. But induction is almost always better otherwise.

Also, gas contributes to indoor air pollution, and can cause buildings to explode if it leaks.

My Samsung induction oven and cook top is my favorite appliance. I fucking hated my old gas stove, not worth the steel it was made with. Induction cooks faster, more evenly, and im not killing myself and family on the fumes anymore. I don’t have to turn the knobs just right to ignite a flame. Never using a gas stove again in my damn life.

I’m sorry you have Samsung; mine broke before hitting 10 years old. Samsung didn’t make parts anymore. But the Whirpool washer I bought at the same time had a plethora of parts readily available.

I had to find someone on eBay that could fix the part.

My rule after that is if the company has ever made a TV or a cell phone I’ll never buy their appliance.
