Strictly of legal age, but old men are better lovers for young women, and young men are better lovers for older women.
Why? Many reasons:
- Their libidos are better matched - older men are starting to slow down just as women’s libido increase due to menopause.
- An older man is more likely to know how to make a woman orgasm, while an older woman is going to be more confident in telling her partner what she wants, which leads to younger women learning how to enjoy sex, and younger men learning how to pleasure a partner.
- Attraction - men typically find youth attractive, while women typically find seniority to be attractive. This is a natural result of evolution causing men to seek more viable pairing for offspring, and women to seek more experienced men who have demonstrated fortitude and likely have acquired resources to support children.
In society, the knee jerk reaction is to shun or mock pairings of opposite ends of the age spectrum (I decided to post this after seeing Hugh Hefner and Leonardo DiCaprio being the target of mockery) but their relations are the healthiest and best possible match for both parties.
Exceptions to the rules - not all older men have learned how to help their partners orgasm, and not all older women have their libidos rev up to match that of young men - but in general, older<->younger is the ideal pairing sexually.
Edit: Based on the upvote/downvote ratio this is NOT an unpopular opinion. I had no idea so many people agreed with me! 😯
their relations are the healthiest
How do you know? Also this is not unpopular opinion, it’s bullshit psychology.
90% of this comm is just bad information hiding as an opinion.
I “know” because it is my opinion. Your opinions are ALSO bullshit, by the way.
First, never whine about votes, nor crow about them. It’s just not cool.
Second,I suspect the cause has nothing to do with your edit. More likely, people suspect it’s rage bait rather than a genuine post. I agree, after seeing your responses in comments, and regret having originally upvoted.
That out of the way, I actually only disagree about the idea that it’s the ideal pairings. Age gaps only matter in sex when one person is using their age as a tool of manipulation. But they aren’t automatically better when farther apart. They might be, but there’s a lot to be said for similarities in age cohorts being a better indicator of compatibility than the erroneous assumption that age = skill. You did mention that there are exceptions, I’m using that specific aspect as an example just because it’s easiest.
I was neither whining nor crowing. Just pointing out the obvious conclusion. Why would I care what was cool though, by the way?
It’s not bait of any kind, it’s my opinion.
Thanks for your assessment; I find it interesting. Ideal, is of course, my opinion. Since there’s no objective certainty possible.
Edit: a better way to state ideal is that regardless of my own age and gender, I’d rather be in a relationship with a large age gap. I think that’s one way to assess ideality, right? It’s the ideal if you’d be happy to enter into the arrangement, as it’s defined, with a random entry point.
Some people shouldn’t enter a relationship, and you’re one of them.
😂
You really disagree with my opinion. I could brag here, but someone recently told me that’s not cool. I still don’t know why I’d care what is cool or not, specifically in a place where you’re self-identifying as holding an opinion you know is unpopular, but it seems wise not to brag about how wrong you are when there’s no way to prove it without doxxing myself, and nothing to gain by disproving your assertion.
So I’ll just say: subjectively, quantifiably, you’re very wrong.
Is sexism an opinion? :/
No? Where do you see sexism? I’m not judging anyone based on their sexuality. I’m an egalitarian.
“[…] just as women’s libido increase due to menopause.”
I was under the impression that for the majority of women, the menopause (and symptoms surrounding it) leads to a very significant decrease in libido
Oddly enough, I couldn’t find any reference to libido whatever on the Wikipedia article on menopause. My own understanding comes from anecdotal experiences of my partners. Maybe it’s not directly linked to menopause, but women’s libidos generally increase with age? At a minimum, I can say that is my observation.
There’s a bit on here:
- reduced sex drive (loss of libido)
Also, the wikipaedia page has a diagram of symptoms, including “less interest in sexual activity” amongst others, then further down in the “Cognitive symptoms and mood shifts” bit, says “cognitive symptoms can include anxiety, poor memory, inability to concentrate (brain fog), depressive mood, irritability and fatigue, mood swings, and less interest in sexual activity.”
Having a quick look around the internet (I’m not pretending in some sort of sexpert), there seems to be wildly contrasting views on libido and age - some saying highest is in 20s, some 30s or 40s for all sexes. They all seem to agree that it tends to drop off at 50s in women and 60s in men - but the libido isn’t the only factor, compared to “whatever is going on in your life” - someone who is recently separated or someone whose last child has just left home may of course find an increased “enthusiasm” along with their new found freedom.
Obviously, there’s differences in individuals, but if you’re “banging your way through a harem of horny 50-something year old women” you might be in something of a minority (or you’re a mystical sex-magician, and should be sharing your wisdom with the rest of us).
Interesting, thank you. I seem to be enjoying a very atypical experience of a life.
I will say you’re not the first, or even second, to deliver the sentiment of that final parenthesis to me 😂 I’ve been called a sexual Jedi, sex god, a wizard, mind reader, and other flattering names. But yes, even with partners I’ve enjoyed for literal decades, their libidos have only increased with age, none of them decreased. Whereas I’m now getting testosterone supplements just to keep up, and I’m missing the libido of my youth.
Ah, I wonder if perhaps your vagina virtuoso ways are what’s led to an unpopular opinion post - it’s probably quite different rules for a labial legend or fanny fascinator. I think my experience, as a non-muff magician, and as far as I’m aware, those of my friends and colleagues (also not cunny conjurers) seems to follow the more typical trends. It’s quite understandable though, for a minge maestro that your skill as a beaver bewitcher would lead to libido being sustained or increased for a far longer amount of time, leading to the impression it was connected to age ranges rather than your skill as a quim quiverer.
You are very impressive at naming things, fakeman_pretendname. I believe, like myself, you save your best work for others.
I have to admit I really enjoyed making up that series of silly synonyms and alliterations :)
While, to be honest, I don’t really agree with you, I think there’s definitely a biological element around fertility and maturity that’s worth discussing.
However, it’s difficult to discuss this stuff in generalities. Plus, there’s a tendency to overcorrect when discussing age gaps as a natural reaction to the countless scandals regarding old, powerful men exploiting young, vulnerable people.
It feels like there’s an instinctive reaction, especially online, to any perceived imbalance in age, and that generally the senior figure is viewed with suspicion.
I find it slightly hypocritical that some of those who fall over themselves to rightly defend the freedom of consenting adults to identify how they like, and encourage people to embrace all facets of their sexuality, baulk at any significant age discrepancies between heterosexual couples like puritans clutching pearls.
I find myself agreeing with everything you’ve said. Thanks for contributing.
Power imbalances are far too common, and likely are a big reason why the knee-jerk reaction is so prevalent.
after seeing Hugh Hefner and Leonardo DiCaprio
So, would you say they are a good fit?
This person needs upvotes, not downvotes… Right? It is indeed an popular opinion.
Nope, the hive mind has spoken.
Or maybe it’s an example of a double negative? An unpopular opinion by an unpopular person, so downvote instead of upvote?
Instructions unclear. Glimmer-in-the-mikman’s eye hooked up with a corpse.
