Seems like cheating to me.
The point wasn’t to die. Being tied down to your horse would be cheating but not fancy armour.
Yeah but the lance is held up by the armor. Lift it yourself you pansy.
From other angles it doesn’t seem to be connected to the armour though? Just an oversized fancy lance guard.

Yeah you know how bad it would be if you had to shift your whole body on a horse to adjust the aim of the tip of the lance 10ft away?

Pretty frustrating that we only get this picture. I would love to see a 360 view with all the pieces assembled for a match.
I did some digging and apparently the screw on the chin was for mounting an additional chestplate that would cover the chest and lower face with extra protection. It was made from wood and leather with some metal reinforcements, according to this old Royal Armouries video I found
At least they’d never take it on the chin
Kinda reminds me of the Hollander II BattleMech.
