Locals aren’t happy about the film’s take on the ICE shooting of Renée Good.

This is just unhinged. It’s going to do so incredibly poor in theaters.

Then the film’s Renée Good stand-in enters, slamming her Subaru into the ICE van. Described with the subtlety of a brick as “MELANIE (40), a fat blue-hair,” the woman, blasting NPR, revs up again and fatally hits ICE agent “Juan” with her car. Then his ICE partner, “Mike,” shoots her in a justifiable killing.

They have like 5 jokes. LOL.

You forgot about the covid mask.

      Content warning: description of violence

      spoiler

The first shot takes the [sic] Melanie in the neck, below her covid
mask. The second in the head, above her covid mask.
Blood SPLATTERS on her PASSENGER’s (40s, female, overweight)
      forehead and matching covid mask.

My contempt is boundless for everyone involved not just in making light of this specific murder, but in perpetuating the idea that ICE are anything better than bumbling, violently insecure, untrained little boy-men.

This part is actually sickening. They’re glorifying violence openly now so that they can whip up conservative men even harder. Anyone that likes this film is devoid of any kind of moral compass.

The right wingers don’t have many creative people. Very few right wing comedians as an example. I think that’s one of the reasons they hate the other side, they need us for good entertainment.

And like all conservative “joke” it’s about mocking, hurting, or killing someone. The conservative sense of humor is truly twisted.

Their sense of humor falls flat when they no longer have someone to punch down on. It’s just dripping with insecurity.

Is there anything they respect? I guess they probably hold the taste of boot leather in pretty high esteem

They’re showing that they don’t even respect their own! As soon as someone even remotely deviates from the message, the pack ousts them. It’s crazy watching all of this play out like a fascism 101 class.

Please tell me it wasn’t written by Ben Shapiro, author of famously corny political action thrillers

Edit: wow shapiro has been a political commentator for a long time, like as long ago as Obama. The distinction between a leftist and a rightist probably wasn’t as pronounced back then and it’s kind of weird to think that anyone was doing what we does in 2012 (i.e before Trump v.s Clinton, gamergate)

Lil B Shaps got rejected by Hollywood for being a dogshit writer. If he’d made it he’d be palling around to this day with the west coast libs, happy as a clam. His failure is his heel turn Hitler art school rejection moment because he realized he doesn’t have to be competent to make content for the right.

Not as much has changed as you’d think, back then he was advocating for the mass murder of middle easterners.

And yeah sounds bad enough to be written by him
