If you cut these people in half the pure evil inside them must be a glowing neon green. The only explanation for this timeline is that we died years ago and this is hell.

It took a lot of things and courage was not any part of it.

Mostly it took petty bribery and some religious fanaticism.

    But whatever.

Let’s not forget ignoring long standing legal precedent.

I must be too jaded but I just expect them to lie since there are zero consequences.

What it took was for 6+ members of the court to be Catholics and to impose their religious creed on the rest of us.

““The physical threats and the harassment represent something new in our society and something that’s quite disturbing, and I think it’s a danger,” Alito concluded.”

These are just not new things at all in US society. Maybe he thinks it’s new because he’s never experienced it before. But it shows a profound ignorance of American history to say something like that.

At some level, they have to realize how pooly this decision will be viewed from a historical perspective

In that regard, it could be called bravery. The willingness to be a POS in the history books in exchange for money and power while you live

They really don’t though. He genuinely thinks it was the right thing to do otherwise he wouldn’t be saying it. Christianity is a disease that tells you that some truly heinous acts are good actually.

It took courage to punch down on some of the most vulnerable members of our population, to destroy legal precedent that a majority of Americans strongly supported. And he did it all for no better reason than to indulge his own perverse views on women.

This one statement tells you everything you need to know about Samuel Alito.
