Man they sure moved a long way from “don’t be evil” yikes
IDK, they kinda just removed one word
That got dropped practically the moment the original founders were out the door many years ago.
with the phrase “do not be evil” they recognize two things:
- The responsibility that comes with power new technology brings
- The possibility that this tech could become or used for evil.
Something like that never should have been a simple promise to begin with. They’ve been allowed to become a near-monopoly so i guess it’s really up to them what they decide to do now anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
