I usually give that look to the table on the other side of the restaurant that didn’t finish their fries and let the waitress take them to be thrown away in the trash.

If a waiter’s coming around to clear the table, usually it’s because people at the table are giving indications that they’re done - nobody’s eating anymore, cutlery is set parallel in the “finished” (4-10) position, etc.
