    My uncles all died before or just after their retirement, in their sixties.

    Anyhoo, governments refuse to acknowledge the fact that people dying later (they don’t, really, kids don’t die as often) doesn’t mean they are able to work longer. The brain still deteriorates at the same speed as it did hundreds of years ago (unless you caught syphilis).

    Already know I’ll die at my desk at work and I’ve already come to terms with that
