      We sat on our asses for years as their crisis got worse. Help is better late than never, but fuck could those innocent people use a little help right now.

      Solar panels and inverters would be useful.

      If Cuba were a democracy then sure. But it’s not. So it’s authoritarian vs. authoritarian. No matter what you do, you’re helping an authoritarian asshole.

        You don’t have to like Cuba’s government to have some sympathy for the people. Countries regularly send food aid to North Korea when its people are starving
