This one time I drove to the park to take a jog before work and ran all the way home. Got ready for the day and was surprised to discover my car was missing.
Okay wait this one is hilarious 😂 I’m so sorry. Did you have to get unready and run all the way back?
Thankfully had enough time to walk there. I switched my workout routine to biking after that.
I have forgotten about a concert after paying for the tickets, I have forgotten about super important plans and didn’t even send a text to the person I had them with until about 6 hours later (in fairness I never even got a text or call from them in that time, just a “where were you, I waited” when I called to apologize) and I have forgotten my entire wallet at a restaurant. Sat it down while waiting for my card back and put the card in my pocket and left the wallet on the table.
I have also unironically said this.
i envy those that have perfect memory, they don’t know the pain of forgetting.
It also means they can’t forget painful memories. It’s not the ideal.
But they also don’t know the not of rewatching a series for (kind of) the first time again, or rereading a book and getting surprises in it.
They probably get to drink their coffee while it’s still warm and don’t have to set 15 alarms starting a few days before in order to make it to a doctor’s appointment on time.
Silver lining: It’s hard to hold a grudge when you forgot that you were angry at someone (or why).
I was laid off and found an old paycheck I’d never deposited and got it in one day before expired, just in time to pay my mortgage
It’s owed money, so you would just need to ask for a reissue. Then you wait a few weeks and then you built a new house and move three times and probably, shit, where did I just walk to?
When was that appointment?
Oh, yesterday.
The full 64k or the 38911 BASIC bytes free?
Even a goddamn calculator has more RAM than I do, either number for C64 RAM is MANY TIMES more.
