To my fellow Europeans, this is the reason why we need an EU army. Once Russia attacks one of us, do you really think these clowns will come to our rescue?

As someone currently trapped in the US, they will absolutely not. They will pretend it isn’t happening just like they are now. If they won’t rise up to save themselves, they will absolutely not rise up to save others. Individualism is the name of the game here, they don’t care until it personally affects them, by which time it’s, of course, too late…

This just means that the EU is paying for the weapons that the US is sending. Correct me if I am wrong but the US is still doing reconnaissance and they still have their officers in Wiesbaden supporting Ukraine.

The problem is that is money going out of the defence budget away from domestic and independent military funding, towards the Americans and their illegal raids on other nations. Understand me correctly, good riddance to Maduro and Chamenei, but they were removed because they were unpractical for American interests, with this money we are supporting their raids. The Iran war shows what arrogance and incompetence of the Americans can do to the Europeans because Europe outsourced all of its energy. We let ourselves get blackmailed and the only way we can stop that is by building security that is under our control.

We are not dependent on the middle east for our energy but oil is traded globally. Even the Americans pay more despite exporting oil. Anyways we will always depend on foreign resources no matter the size of our army.

I doubt that we can get independent from the US anyway. The drones, robot and AI technology is in the hand of the US and the CPUs and GPUs as well, or in the hands of their allies. The US have managed to put the EU in a position that the EU cannot avoid paying for the wars.

If we get rid of oil and gas, we couldn’t care less how ridiculously expensive it is globally. That’s why renewable energies are doubly important.

Drones are already being manufactured on Mars by many companies, especially in the Baltic countries and in Finland. We also have companies that produce processors, although not for private customers. And everyone’s favourite example, ASML. No ASML, no NVIDIA, AMD, Intel, or even TSMC.

Things could always be better, but only because we won’t ever be 100% independent doesn’t mean that we should just give up. 90% independent is still better than 0%. As a taxpayer, I am sick and tired of giving the Americans my money. How about we take all of this money and do something productive with it?

The only thing the trump regime is consistent on is advancing russian foreign policy. Anything else they’ll chicken out, back down, change tack, get bored or give up. But if it furthers the stated goals of the russian federation, republicans will get it done.

Not really true. Trump administration is also consistent on advancing Israel foreign policy. Israel and Russia, so many things in common.

One thing the Epstein files made very clear is that US lawmakers (particularly the Trump family), Israel, and Russia are all more tightly linked than we previously thought.

I’ve been telling people about Trump’s being Putin’s, NOT Ukraine’s, OR NATO’s, ally, for years ( not necessarily here, but in RL ).

    This was easily forseeable.

Coulda invested in mitigating the consequences…

Trump’s breaking of NATO comes next, after his dictatorship, when he annexes Canada.

    Enjoy the weekend…

Have you seen Oliver North doing the talk show circuit? That’s what we do with traitors in the US.
