“No, I love it – the numbers were great,” Trump said. “You know what I really love? I love the inflation. You know why? Because as soon as this war is over, you know, I can say it now, something you didn’t know. You know, we’ve been taking out millions of barrels of oil, nobody knows it. You know who doesn’t know about it? Iran, until right now we took out the other night 22 ships late at night with no lights because they don’t have any radar because we blasted the crap out of it. We took out, that’s why oil is $85 a barrel.”

This is an all-time Trump quote. A masterclass in narcissistic dementia rambling. Someone put it on a pillow.

Yes. Yes he is this stupid. Once you get over the incredulity that nobody could be like this, just skip to the end and know that a self serving, idiot narcissist can do this and worse.

He also raped and killed kids and their mothers on purpose. He loves fucking kids, as stated in the TRUMP-EPSTEIN FILES ™.

It’s a strategy only great minds like his can grasp.

I’m 5 months behind on my podcasts so I’m now listening to all the coverage and analysis of the Maduro kidnapping. Everybody was saying that with how cheap oil is, it doesn’t make sense to try to take Venezuelan oil which is heavy and requires a lot of refinement. In that context shutting down the Strait of Hormuz makes perfect sense.

I also listen to a lot of politics and it amazes me to this day the consensus is not he’s a fucking idiot but in the context of he is Putin’s puppet and the goal is to destroy America and the Western Alliance he’s doing what he’s meant to do.

The problem is very smart people like Dr. Janice Stein are quick to say there’s sure as shit smoke but we don’t factually know what the deal is with Trump and Putin but we all know something is there

Those two things aren’t mutually exclusive.

One can be a fucking idiot and Putler’s lapdog.

Saying “we don’t know for a fact he’s working for the Russians” is just willful ignorance.

The aforementioned claims by Shvets, which were also a significant basis for Craig Unger’s best-selling book, American Kompromat: How the KGB Cultivated Donald Trump, and Related Tales of Sex, Greed, Power, and Treachery, were also backed by Alnur Mussayev, former head of Kazakhstan’s intelligence service, and Sergei Zhyrnov, an ex-KGB officer living in France.[26] Mussayev also asserted that Trump is compromised:

I have no doubt that Russia has kompromat on the US President, that over the course of many years the Kremlin has been promoting Trump to the post of President of the main world power

I hate to do this to you guys, but Iran’s going to have a nuclear weapon very soon. We have to go and attack.

Am I wrong to interpret that as overtly sarcastic?

Like he is making an off handed remark that the nuclear weapon thing has always been a bs justification toattack another country?

Who the hell needs a nuke to hurt the US? The US is doing so much worse to itself and it’s former soft power. A recent report in Europe found that only 1 in 10 Europeans (from various countries, about 15-20 were asked) consider the US an ally. The tourism industry in the US is probably never to recover from Trump because the problem isn’t Trump, it is the fact that 70mæ million americans have shown themselves to be totally cool with fascism if it means they can feel superior as they’re getting fleeced by the criminals in charge.

@MajinBlayze @tacoplease If I heard or read that, I’ve forgotten. However, I’ve been following the economy for a long time (parent was economist). I’ve been waiting for the dollar to be trashed by the evil out there and turned into rubles. Can’t have a strong dollar when democracy is being killed off.

Technically I’ve overstated it a bit, the more correct framing is that a major contributor of Trump’s economic policy, Stephen Miran, also wrote a paper called “a user’s guide to restructuring the global trading system” which advocates and provides guidance for removing the dollar as the primary reserve currency of the world.

But that seems like a distinction without a difference to me.

I don’t think that that necessarily means we’ll see the ruble in it’s place though.

What’s you idea behind how the Federal Reserve came to be, what it is, and how that might differ from how it’s perceived? Anything? — just curious

Far as we remember, banks have always been a thing in one way or another, however one too many banks got robbed, destroyed or worse, everyone cashed out all at once; caused the US gov to initiate an insurance policy, which needed a treasury to fulfill those insurance policies, it was a way to help banks.

We think that was the beginning of the US federal reserve; if our memory serves us right. Idk the year or specifics, just that tidbit from history. If we’re wrong then please lmk lol

I’m not going to stumble through my limited knowledge about the entirety of the history of the fed to see if it happens to overlap with whatever you’re getting at. If you have a point, make it.

No point. I am just someone who is curious because I like to learn new things, and thought perhaps I could spark some discourse toward that effect. It’s my fault for being so unconventional, off topic, and clearly having overestimated your limited knowledge about it. All is well, I would prefer your composure and not your stumble. Have a good day.

Would that not qualify as treason? Did he just admit to intentionally levying a war that is purposely against the American people? Adhering to the enemy, giving them aid?

WASHINGTON – US officials on March 6 told RFE/RL that Russia is providing Iran with targeting information to attack US troops and military assets in the Middle East, confirming a Washington Post report that suggested Moscow is playing a substantial if indirect part in the widening regional conflict.

Inflation is one of those big words, kinda like ‘economist’ or ‘groceries.’ When you’re a MAGA, how can you be expected to know these things?
