when I learned to finally piss in my dreams without wetting the bed, that’s when I knew I had truly ascended as a lucid dreamer

This advice has saved me on many a restless nights.

In my dream I keep wandering in search of a restroom that I can use, but every toilet I come across has some kind of problem (too big, too small, too exposed), and I have to keep wandering until I eventually wake up and make my way to the bathroom.

I once had a pee dream set in the undefined future. In it, there were plenty of toilets but they were all protected by forcefields. The forcefields were intermittent, but with only moments when they were off, so you could get through only with very precise timing.

I spent the entire dream trying to either match that timing or find a restroom without a forcefield. I didn’t succeed at either, but fortunately that meant I didn’t try to pee, either.

That said, the moment I woke up I immediately ran to the real life … I hope … Bathroom.

I often have dreams where I have to pee, but can’t for some reason (can’t find the toilet, etc., haven’t had forcefields yet though)

I wonder if it’s our brains recognizing the need for pee but still protecting us from pissing ourselves.

Though I did have dreams where I did pee a lot and still woke up to dry sheets and full bladder.

      Brains are weird.

I used to have them semi frequently, but haven’t for many years, even if I fell asleep having to pee.

My least favorite pee dream that I can remember was from when I was a child. I don’t really remember many of the details, but I know that I was in a submarine and I think there were mercenaries trying to take it over. Also, it was slowly flooding.

I was young and it scared the hell out of me. The moment I woke up I went to an appropriate receptacle and peed. For a long, long time I made sure to void everything before I fell asleep.

Just the night before last I had a dream where I had to pee really bad, but no matter how many times I peed it never felt better. When it finally woke me up I was very grateful that my body refused to actually pee. One of these days my luck’s gonna run out…

The problem isn’t when there’s a toilet, the problem is when there is no toilet and my brain suddenly thinks it’s okay that there’s no toilet. 🫩

Reminds me of the time I went to spit off of the roof of a building while in a dream.

I ended up hocking a big loogie right in my bed 2 inches from my face. That was fun to wake up to.

I used to have less deep sleep and more than once, woke up, walked to the bathroom, sat on the toilet but was not completely convinced I was awake and not dreaming so could not pee. I was just so exhausted I didn’t know if I was asleep or awake!

All the toilets in my dreams are broken or otherwise unusable. It’s deeply frustrating at the time, but I guess I should be thankful.
