The pedo’s brain is mush. He probably thinks he did great. Actually the twat thinks everything he does is great.

Narcissism in someone who looks like that would be a funny thing if he wasn’t actively destroying our country…

The moment I remember was when an NBC reporter gave him a textbook softball question: “What do you say to Americans who are scared?”. It’s a question that any former President or any other world leader would instantly recognize as teeing him up for an inspiring and reassuring speech about Nationhood and courage whilst working in talking points about social distancing, masks, and reaffirming any recent positive news about vaccine development.

His actual reply: “I’d Say That You’re A Terrible Reporter.”

It goes further than this. Weeks before COVID, Trump lamented that he didn’t have “a Katrina” like Bush. He literally said something along the lines of, “I wish there was a national tragedy that I could take advantage of so that people would re-elect me.”

And it was given to him. On a silver platter.

Now, my guess is that if he was given a war or something storm based, he would have had the opportunity to roll out the military or some other fascist bullshit but COVID was a battle of science, something he doesn’t believe in.

Thing is, he actually did handle the initial vaccine moves about as well as he could’ve, apart from maybe a normal human starting earlier whereas he spent awhile mumbling about how he wouldn’t let people off a cruise ship and that it would magically disappear in 2 weeks (his TACO timeline for everything in his life). But operation warp speed was the right move in broad strokes. It’s only because he’d created a cadre of conspiracy cultists that he was forced to back off rather than suffer the wrath of *gasp! people not filling his botomless empty hole with their adulation 24/7.

You’re right that he was handed a silver platter but the even more hilarious (sad) part is he created the platter, filled it with the finest truffles and caviar (or I suppose in his world it’d be big macs), and then as soon as one person said “boo” he threw it all in the trash and stomped off to pout in the corner like he always does as the little piss baby he is.

He’s got zero capacity for conscious thought and I’d almost feel bad for him if he hadn’t murdered millions of people.

The entire covid outbreak was a golden ticket to a second term and only someone like Trump could take a free win and somehow lose it.

I’ve been saying it since 2020, but he could have just sat back and let Fauci do his job he’s had for 2 decades, the orange-diddler could have continued sucking at golf for several months and likely coasted into a 2nd term.

But no, a massive narcissist who has to make everything about himself and can’t fathom the fact Obama is a better president than he’ll ever be…

    1. You dismantled Obama’s task force which likely could have mitigated the disaster

    2. You said it wasn’t a big deal

    3. You said it would disappear in the summer

    4. You push antivaxx

    5. You told people to drink bleach, swallow IR lights and squirt horse dewormer up their asses

    6. Then you got it and made sure to get pumped full of every single experimental drug and receive top medical care our taxpayer money could buy

    7. Continued called it a hoax

    8. Nuked the economy then blamed it on Biden

    9. Had govt agencies intercept and confiscate PPE and other critical medical supplies en route to the sites that already purchased them, you then gifted to your corrupt buddies (blue flame medical) to auction off back to hospitals

      Not world wide.

WW2 had about 10 times more casualties (70 million) than Covid (7 million)

Americans, sure: WW2 (400k) vs Covid (1.2 million).

Even though I kind of have to assume that its success probably happened largely in spite of Trump rather than because of him, Operation Warp Speed and rolling out a safe and effective vaccine in the amount of time they did was genuinely impressive. It might be the only good thing his administration ever did. The irony that he can’t claim any credit for it because it would piss off his own supporters will forever be absolutely hilarious to me.

What exactly did Operation Warp Speed do?

Both RNA vaccines were developed in Germany and rolled out by several countries, organized by the UN. The most used retrovirus vaccine was developed at the UK and rolled out by the UN.

In meanwhile, Trump got the US out of the WHO.

EDIT: Oh, from the wiki, it was the US program that rolled out the vaccines in the US, because they were not participating on the UN program… That contributed about as much as most developed countries out there.

Him saying that really opened to my eyes that Trump wasn’t some nefarious mastermind or a skilled liar. He was and always has been an entertainer and a bullshitter.

Dude literally saw a sign on hospital protocols for sanitizing surfaces: bleach and UV light - then had a camera thrust in front of him and tried to spout some BS acting like he was well informed and smart.

Here’s a great example of MAGA Madness.

A lot of them hate Fauci and blame him for Covid.

Either Fauci was good at his job, and Trump is a creep for not standing up for him OR Fauci was terrible at his job and Trump was an idiot to leave him in charge.

But to the MAGAs Fauci is the bad guy and Donnie is the hero.

public health is everyone’s problem. you can die from someone else being a dickhead, which is why “personal liberty” should be a far more questionable defence when it comes to transmissible disease that most other things… when your personal liberty can impinge on others’ personal liberty in significant and sometimes deadly ways the its no longer a matter of just personal choice: you’re making choices for others

Like… it’s bad enough that they did a horrible job on COVID, then claim they did a great job. That’s very silly. But that aside:

What president says “but we never got credit for it”, as if that’s the main issue. Why is it so important to the president that he get so much credit and recognition for his actions? (Again, ignoring the fact that you obviously don’t get credit for doing a shitty job.)

Donald has never been shown love by an adult role model, I think. Is this narcissism a product of overcompensation? Of self-correction? Of “rectifying” decades of emotional neglect? Of exaggerated self-love, except he doesn’t really know what love is supposed to look like, and when it still doesn’t come from others in his life, he’s like “but why doesn’t it come? Why am I still not loved? I am president now. Give me love! Give me credit! [Has to give self credit.] Why am I not adored? Adore me! [Has to give self adoration/parades.]”

And people mock him and give him shit (rightfully).

I don’t know… Just a thought that crossed my mind.

But fuck him and his insider-trading ass. He only cares about himself.

Trump1.0 morphing straight into the pandemic and Jan6 was an emotional rollercoaster for me, usually from bad to worse.

I realized that the lines between who I trust as a person and who I don’t had shifted and no longer aligned with other lines. Simplified: nazi hippies started to emerge, to my horror.

I have now started listening to some podcast backlogs from this time and revisiting it with an almost historical mindset. If the above speaks to you, you should try it too.

    Most notably QAA and Conspirituality.

The American people actually did okay notwithstanding all the terrible things that he and his administration did.

    There’s no credit to give.
