If you have a special responsibility towards Israel BE RESPONSIBLE AND FUCKING FIX IT. You aren’t taking responsibility for ANYTHING.

Words have meaning for fucks same.

Fix it that you “have responsibility towards israel”.

Change that thing, and it makes you a more responsible nation.

“As long as those doing it are from a “good” race (let’s call them ubermenschen for simplicity) and those suffering it are from a “bad” race (let’s call them untermeschen for simplicity), then a Genocide (even one where children are purposefully targetted) is something we must support.”

I don’t get it. ICC was made for one purpose, to prevent LITERALLY AND EXACTLY WHAT IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW, and everyone is just… Ignoring it?

Like what the fuck. You might as well just cancel it at this point. Get your name into the history books as the fucks that decided that we don’t need to persecute war crimes any more.

The ICC was made to bring a facade of impartiality to imperial lawfare. Lindsay Graham (piss be upon him) gave the game away when he said “this court is for Africans and thugs.” It’s the ‘impartial, respectable’ face of empire in the same way that a federal court is the ‘impartial, respectable’ face of America’s prison slavery system.

So the fact that the US is determined to dismantle it now shows what stage we’re in. They put the ICC in an impossible position: say nothing and lose all credibility, or go against Israel and anger the US. This shows that the immune system of fascism has become so sensitive and inflamed that it can no longer stand the presence of it’s own institutional camouflage, it’s own skin. Liberalism was capitalism’s skin, and now we’re seeing the naked bloody musculature of end-stage capitalism, AKA fascism.

Africans called it the “international caucasian court” for a reason. Its purpose isn’t to prevent genocide, its purpose is to prosecute Africans the west doesn’t like. Look at what it has actually done, not what you’ve been told it is for.

To quote the great Stafford Beer, the purpose of a thing is what it does (or, more specifically phrased, we cannot say the purpose of something is what it constantly fails to do).

The ICC was created in 2002 and has exclusively worked against targets of imperialists.

The ICJ is as old as the UN and was for the same types of activities as it’s predecessors, again just bullying and jockying for power with legalese and arrests and prosecutions after winning wars. The US withdrew after they’d have been brought up for violations backing the Contras in Nicaragua, it’s only used to go after those that can be bullied and denigrated by imperialists. Sometimes they’re deserving but mostly it’s just another tool to wage war.

The ICC seems irrelevant here. Its purpose is to prosecute members and employees of governments and militaries who commit serious crimes. Which it is doing, albeit with a focus on weaker countries.

It has successfully issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and a few other Israeli government and military officials.

They’re not really being ‘ignored’ as much as you may think they are. It’s mostly that the warrants are only legally binding in countries that signed the Rome treaty. Which Netanyahu and his goons know to avoid.

That said, there were a few cases where a country decided not to act on such warrants, despite having full legal obligation to do so. It’s quite rare, especially in Europe, but it does sometimes happen.

Well, I did say it’s quite rare and not that it never happens.

There was a similar case in Poland last year, where the prime minister also invited Netanyahu to the country, completely ignoring the arrest warrant and assuring him that he’ll be safe.

In the end, Bibi didn’t show up and Poland’s PM likely expected as much. Not trying to defend either him or Merz, but these invites may just be political plays. Still a serious issue though, since they shouldn’t be inviting him anyway.

It has successfully issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and a few other Israeli government and military officials.

the prosecutor responsible for pursuing the warrants has been pushed out, so there’s no longer anyone trying to arrest netanyahu.

That said, there were a few cases where a country decided not to act on such warrants, despite having full legal obligation to do so. It’s quite rare, especially in Europe, but it does sometimes happen.

it goes beyond “few” and “rare” when the biggest and most powerful signatories – germany and france – actively ignore it and all incidents occured in less than 3 years.

Classic antisemite, hiding his hard-on for “Israel doing our dirty work” behind Germany’s debt for the Holocaust.

Germany does have a special responsibility towards Jews. So Germany should open its borders to all Jews who want to leave behind them the Zionist apartheid regime in the land of Palestine and offer them terms better than the Aliya. Make Germany a safe haven for Jews everywhere. You wouldn’t want anyone to think you only support Israel to get rid of European Jews, now, do you?

If you’re a descendant of German Jews or your relatives where somewhat involved in the holocaust, you pretty much get the citizenship automatically. There’s a lot of anti-zionist Israelis in Berlin

In this hypothetical, if I were Jewish, and Germany had an open invitation for importing millions of Jews, I would be a bit hesitant
