    Nope. Only when I’ve just laundered the sheets and duvet cover. I don’t care about an unmade bed and care even less what visitors to my bedroom might think.

    The only time I make my bed is when I wash my sheets. Otherwise, I just unravel the blankets and wrap myself up like a burrito every night.

    I remember reading somewhere that making your bed every morning right when you get up can trap moisture under the covers and it makes your sheets smell bad faster. Not sure how much I believe that though.

    Every single day.

    I was once told that no matter how your day goes, no matter what goes wrong and how shit you feel, at least you’ll have a neat bed to fall into.

      That’s a good perspective and similar idea to why we always make sure the house is spotless (by our standards, anyway) before leaving on holiday. Hadn’t thought about it from that perspective for bedding, but it is true.

    I don’t see the point. I don’t care what it looks like, nobody else who might see it does. The only person in the world who might care is my MIL and she lives 6 hours by train away.

    Same method. It just gets pulled over but I don’t bother making it look neat. Unless things are washed and replaced, then I’ll make it properly.

    nope. no were near. neither my nor I. we both like rolling up in covers and don’t see a point to the fancy look. even when we change stuff we don’t make it perfect nice thing. just get stuff on.

    Nope. I am in the beginning stages of perimenopause and I tend to sweat a bit in my sleep. I leave my bed unmade so it can dry, thankfully it’s not full on night sweats yet. Not looking forward to that.

    I make the bed for only 2 occasions;

    • When I first put on the sheets
    • When my in laws are coming over, even though they likely will not see the bed.

    I rarely unmake it in the first place. But yes, I make it every time I’m the last one out of the bed… during the time of year when we use a duvet.

    If we mean straightening the bed up, yes. If we mean changing any bedding, that’s generally weekly for us.
