      No, they have decided what everyone was calling AGI is now “ASI”, so they can now arbitrarily declare they did what they promised but still need tons of resources to get where everyone thought they were promising.

    Saw this dipshit at a conference last week. He’s leaning into the jacket jokes and it couldn’t be more cringey. My industry is fucked and is buying into the marketing hype whole-ass. There are some applications in the field but what people don’t seem to get is that for every round of applause this fuckwit gets, hundreds or thousands of people stand to lose their jobs. We live extremely dumb times.

It is 200,000,000 times better than the last 5 breakthroughs we have blown trillions of dollars in investments for over the past few years! The projected earnings are insane!       However over the next five years there will build enough data centres to cover half the planet, and still won’t have invented AGI, but at least we’ll be on chatGPT 19 but then.

        but at least we’ll be on chatGPT 19 but then have the total surveillance state by then. Every road covered by cameras, all feeding into data centres that can track an individual’s movements from the moment they leave their home. Taking note of gait, height, face, clothing, etc

        They won’t have the uppity proles protesting about genocides or the cost of living when any with the will to stand up get arrested instantly.

      The Jacket isn’t stupid.

      It’s a manifestation of Nvidia’s mission statement in clothing form; a sign of it’s individuality and its belief in corporate freedom. CEO cool jacket is just the next step in the lineage of trailblazers that use black leather jackets to look cool, like James Dean or Arthur ‘The Fonz’ Fonzarelli.

      I get how it might stupid if you don’t understand the history and context behind it, but the Jacket itself is okay
