Zuckerberg made a post the day of trumps bs using the term and had been saying it otherwise before the trump thing?

Did you use AI to make your summary of the bad AI dickheads?

There’s a Chinese idiom “point at a deer and call it a horse”, with a familiar-sounding story behind it.

    Quoth Wikipedia:

Zhao Gao was contemplating treason but was afraid the other officials would not heed his commands, so he decided to test them first. He brought a deer and presented it to the Second Emperor but called it a horse. The Second Emperor laughed and said, “Is the chancellor perhaps mistaken, calling a deer a horse?” Then the emperor questioned those around him. Some remained silent, while some, hoping to ingratiate themselves with Zhao Gao, said it was a horse, and others said it was a deer. Zhao Gao secretly arranged for all those who said it was a deer to be brought before the law and had them executed instantly. Thereafter the officials were all terrified of Zhao Gao. Zhao Gao gained military power as a result of that.

Interestingly, it’s been proposed that the Japanese word “baka”, meaning fool, but written as horse-deer, comes from this too.

    AI CEO

That’s what puts them on the list for Guillotine Day.

    Says “super intelligence”

…don’t really give a shit what they say. It’s their actions that are harming us.

In fairness, they haven’t waited to be in cahoots with fascists to harm us. They’ve been at it for at least a quarter century at this point. It’s just that the fascist regime turbocharges corporate abuse and vice-versa.

They should care about who they side with today, because it might mean the difference between hanging from a rope and spending the rest of their retched lives in jail when the Trump regime falls, if we’re lucky enough to get to exact revenge on the sonsabitches some day.

Who they side with is not us. Their datacenters are an attack on our health, environment, and economy, and their product is an attack on our actual brains.

They’ve already crossed the line of using their existence to make the rest of us miserable or dead, and should be defended against accordingly. Which other groups they affiliate with who also want to make us miserable and dead is moot: when there’s a gun aimed at my head, I don’t care who the friends are of the person holding it, I want the person holding it dead before they pull the trigger.

I really enjoy this one and hope we get a lot of mileage out of it. Somehow totally outclasses rebranding twitter as X. It’s so transparently fucking stupid I hope all of them adopt and push the term and require it on all their internal documentation and keep trying to pretend they don’t think it’s as stupid as virtually everyone on the planet thinks it is. I want to see trump supporters get made fun of for using the term while the other, much larger set of trump supporters gets made fun of for not using it until they stop wearing their maga hats out in public. I’m all-in on super intelligence.

Among the tech broligarchs I think it’s not only their endless desire for Trump, but also a ploy to not have “AI” regulated. Because how can mere humans judge the “Super Intelligence”? We just have to accept that it is always right when it e.g. designates schools or hospitals as military targets or denies healthcare coverage.
