In preparation for potential public release, the documents then went to a unit of FOIA officers who applied redactions in accordance with the nine exemptions. The people familiar with the matter said that Trump’s name, along with other high-profile individuals, was blacked out because he was a private citizen when the federal investigation of Epstein was launched in 2006.

In particular, the reviewers applied two FOIA exemptions to justify their redactions. The first, Exemption 6, protects individuals against “a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.” The Supreme Court has said the exemption protects “individuals from the injury and embarrassment” that would result from the disclosure of personal information in possession of the government.

Let me get this straight; his name is redacted because he was a private citizen, but now we can’t prosecute because he’s elected president? That’s handy for him

Just think about how many people actually have read the unredacted version and know for certain the names of the people who raped children with trump and Epstein

And then decided “let’s keep this secret”

We are lousy with abusive billionaires.

    We need a flea bath.

I mean I could see having that thought. You basically would want to setup an entirely different life before exposing it. Otherwise your fall, vehicle, accidental poisoning and suicide risk increases like 100 fold.

We need to respect the victims, that’s why we can’t release it.

Now watch the real thing be released full of victim names as he calls for harrasing them… but all the perpetrators names redacted.

We have to protect the victims. No, not those victims, we meant like…Gislane Maxwell and Donald Trump

I’m going to continue to assume that Trump is guilty the absolute worst stuff that is in those files, as should everyone else until they prove he’s not.

you mean like raping a girl that looked like his at the time 13 or so daughter because of the similarity between them, then threatening with violence to stop her from pursuing legal action?

Yep, that’s the kid Trump raped. We can confirm Virginia Giuffre. He also flew many times on the Lolita Express (so you know convicted felon Trump has been raping kids for a while).

Yup, but let’s not stop there - he’s guilty of everything in those files until they release something that specifically exonerates him.

Trump has never been arrested for anything connected with Maxwell. Unless you meant Esptein when you said “him,” despite the discussion being about Trump.

And as for justice being dead: there is no justice when there’s elite impunity. And we’re neck-deep in it.

We should just assume that the current administration is as or more corrupt (legally and morally) as the Nazis

    Any differences are cosmetic

    Of course they did.

Next startling revelation: the 100 names the DOJ gave Maxwell to give to the DOJ are all political and/or business enemies of Trump.

Plus, there’s a new policy: to make sure we can’t tell what data is overwritten, they will overwrite all instances of the name “Donald Trump” with the precise technical term “Bill Clinton”…

Yeah i was gonna say they don’t always do a very good job at it. Plus, im sure more than a few of the agents involved were salty at being yanked off real jobs to comb through thousands of pages to hide evidence their president is a rapist.

Pinch or 12 of salt and all that, but a coworker’s brother WAS in the FBI until June, and apparently a lot of people are actively quitting or bare minimum looking for new jobs specifically due to Trump and his administration

Really? An authoritarian with nothing to hide would make sure he and his friends didn’t show up in documents of a sex trafficker? Golly, none of us saw that coming.
