A beloved family-run grocery store in Florida may soon close its doors after more than four decades in business — and the owners say tariffs are to blame.

The trouble began when President Donald Trump’s tariffs took effect, shaking the foundation of small import businesses across the country.

The majority of them are not capable of learning. These people live fact-less lives. Their worldview is shaped by feeling and what others tell them. There is no use of critical thinking, reflection, scientific method, facts, or figures.

Unfortunately, they will only learn with a massive amount of pain.

Hello fellow Cantonese speaker; You fucking TRAITOR, traitor to both your own fellow Cantonese people, fellow immigrants, and also, most importantly, a traitor to democracy and the working class.

So, as a Cantonese speaker and fellow Chinese-American immigrant, I wanna say:

Possibly. If it happened before they got citizenship, and if they forgot to tell the immigration officer about it, they could get denaturalized, not even kidding.

Btw: “Legal Weed” is a misnomer, admitting to smoking weed before you obtained citizenship is possibly grounds for denaturalization. Laws are so fucking insane.

They never ask in these stories - would this Trump supporter be continuing that support even after being kicked in the dick? That’s the only part I’m interested in, because everything else these supporters talk about in these stories are things everyone with a brain saw coming.

They stand in front of the steam roller in Austin Powers and get squashed - would they do it again? My guess is they would, but I have to guess because no one ever asks!

Some of the stories do ask. Every one I have seen or heard, they still support Trump. They are unhappy about the specific issue affecting them, but they still believe the rest of his policies are the best ones on offer.

I do not believe turning voters is viable. But discouraged, less enthused Trump voters are more likely to stay home next election, so I see examples like this as potential hopeful signs for our country’s future.

    News at 8:

Gullible business owner conned by Trump for the 13,123 time.

“I just didn’t think the 100’s of years of data we have on Tariffs and what they do to business was correct when Trump said otherwise. My son is blind from staring into an eclipse because Trump said that couldn’t happen too, and now I’m starting to think he might be wrong about stuff.”

I liked it when cartoons were this dumb instead of reality.

(This is not a quote from the article. I’m combining multiple stories of people getting conned by Trump for comedic effect because it’s the same story everytime.)

Tolerance requires the recipient to be grateful for the tolerance. These people see tolerance as a weakness to be ruthlessly exploited.

We tried tolerance, it didn’t work. We can’t make that mistake again. We need to pivot to a strategy the MAGAs will understand and respect, which is crushing them mercilessly. They are evil, treasonous, corrupt pedophiles, and will require a strong boot on their throats for a generation or two, until they learn their lesson once and for all.

These people are too stupid to learn by example, they refuse to think critically and they don’t care about anyone but themselves, so “look at the people you’re hurting” doesn’t work on them. The only thing that will make them change their ways is to get completely fucked over by their ways.

Wong, who supported Trump in the last election, said he was swayed by campaign promises to reduce grocery costs. But now, as his business struggles to stay afloat, he admits the reality looks very different. Grocery inflation is at a two-year high, and prices continue to climb with no end in sight.

Guess he didn’t believe him on tariffs though when he runs an import business.

Volume will make you more money than margins, Walmart proved that pretty handily. Cheaper groceries means more volume. They were pretty on point with that logic, grocery stores generally want cheaper stock so people buy more.
