We have a Yaris, great car, good pickup. It can actually fly fairly well if one is willing to let it.

Sooo … “Slow car fast” is a thing, and can be an awful lot of fun, especially going downhill … if you have twisty roads and little other traffic.
A Yaris can also do good handbrake turns :-)
The yaris is the base car for their rally cars isn’t it? So you could arguably beef tf out of it.
The rally cars bear very little resemblance to a base road model.
That being said, pretty much any base road car that’s made to be sold in developing nations will be a lot of fun to thrash along unpaved roads >:-)
It’s the best fun that can be had racing.

Sometimes I slam my gas pedal to the floor and watch my car never leave economy mode as it gently works its way up to 48 miles per hour, a perfect speed to go while on a Portland highway doing fifty.
